Miss you Dad

     It has been 5 yrs since you left to be at peace. I am happy you are at peace gives me comfort knowing you are in a better place,walking beside Jesus. I miss you, I Think of you often, mostly of all the things you taught  me. How to be Strong , Loving , Kind,Hard working, A Love for outdoors,Love for animals. You were a awesome example of how to be I thank God for giving you to me to guide me in this life you were my Guardian Angle. You had such a big heart and you passed that on to me and my kids. Sometimes it is hard to have such a big heart.But i wouldn't have it any other way. I am glad i had such a amazing father.

I will never say goodbye to you my Father
cause I know this is not the end for us to see each other.
You will only be going to a place where there’s no pain nor suffering.
I am happy for you, for you will be with God.
For now we need to go in separate ways.
I remember how your arms hold me and give me strength.
You were always there to listen, love, and defend me in everything.
You were my very best friend.
In my triumphs you were always proud.
I’m very grateful and proud to call you my dad.
Here deep inside my heart you’ll always be.
I remember the last time I held you’re hand and how you looked at me in the eyes.
I felt the world stop and my heart stop beating when they told me you’re gone…….
How I wish I was only dreaming.
Just like the rain; tears fell down from my eyes, I couldn’t speak for a while.
Thank you Dad….
For always understanding, listening , caring, and loving me for the rest of your life.
The greatest gift God gave me was YOU…….. my Dad…
It’s difficult to let you go but I must…

Great New Year!

Started the New year off Great! Got a phone call from a long lost Family Member My Sister. It was neat to talk to her and my niece.Glad I got to talk to them. But Then I had to make a trip to Kansas to see my Dad who is sick. He had Pneumonia. He is doing better but he is 84 so I just pray for his peace. He really misses my mom and being able to get around. When we were at the hospital he saw us and said find my pants and we will go. Silly dad he always liked to be on the go. We made it back home safe. And now back to life .

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving !! Had a great day with family. But the time when I was a kid was the best. Mom always was a great cook and loved her style she always made it special.Miss you mom and your cooking and all the love you put into it. Well I decide to make a 2x4 tom turky he turned out cute seen it on a blog called craft goodies Love all the cute ideas.. Thank you. Hope everyone had a blessed day and stayed warm and stuffed.

Fall

Its snowing out!! And my feet are cold! Well seen all the wonderful cute pumpkins that people have been makeing I love blogs! So I have made some also. Old Gas Station in Isabel Kansas. I Think it would be cute if they fixed it up and turned it into a quilt shop with lots of flowers out side that would look cute..

Spring start!

Well what a start to this year lots of Rain!! I have planted a garden and it is doing great. I planted green onions, green beans, zucchini. It is small but not much room and just a trial run see what happens. I have also been on a road trip took the boys. Tom had to stay and work.Went to see my Dad and Brother & Sister very nice time. Kids had a great time meeting there cousins for the frist time. The kids played with a wiggle car that was the intertanment for most of the time chased eachother around it was cute. Then I went with my sister inlaw Michelle travled the country side of Kansas to take pitchers of old barns got a few pics but there is so much more I wanted to take I Love old barns its a pitcher from the past. Also she took me to her Family farm we took pics of there barn. We took a look at the old house what a neat place the old farm house was a chicken coop and her grandma turned it in to a house . Now it is like a museum of there family .
Old quilts , black & white photos of the past , more antiques. Just loved it. Great Idea .
Back home now and ready for summer. Going to make an old window frame into a picture frame we will see how it turns out. Have a good rest of spring!

Spring Fever!

Hi! well everyday is nice and warm but here it is friday and we have bad weather . I want to play outside.. I raked the yard wendsday and i loved hearing the birds singing around me. Jesse my oldest layed on the grass and read a book ! shocking for him . He dont like to read, must of been the warm weather. We wanted to go fishing in chalis Id this weekend but we have a guest my niece april brought her oldest boy over to stay with my boys they are enjoying the visit. I cant wait to go camping to smell camp fire and fresh air. better get here soon..well that is my excitment take care..

new Year

Well its been a year and seems like yesterday i made this blog. I guess cause last year was a whole fog ! Seems like everthing just passed by and i cant remeber any of it. It's amazing how you lose someone so special and you lose your self too. well i pray this year is prosporas and adventuras for us..The boys are growing like weeds how the heck do they grow so fast it seemed like when we were kids it took forever to grow up. And now the years fly by.. well ill try to post more. this is kinda addicting almost better than facebook lol well take care!!
